Message
Education is of vital importance in the context of sustainable development of society. It is considered as a powerful tool to promote prosperity by ending poverty and to protect the planetary earth and its rich biodiversity from various undesirable climate changes. The Goal 4 of SDG aims to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning. It emphasizes to provide quality education to poor and marginalized to enhance their full potential to become a productive adult and thus break the cycle of poverty.

In such context, there is need of dissemination of knowledge and new ideas to society through journals/periodicals. The journal Educatum: Journal of Education and Behavioural Science has been putting its efforts in this direction since its inception on the year, 2004. It is a peer reviewed journal which aims to foster research, review, policy and scholarly articles in the discipline of education and behavioural sciences with emphasis on Teacher education to promote sustainable development of society.

About The Journal
Gopal Chandra Memorial College of Education, a premier Government Aided Teachers’ Training Instutute, has been publishing the Peer Reviewed Journal 'Educatum' annually since the year 2004 with ISSN No. 0975-2641. It usually publishes research, review and scholarly articles in the discipline of Education and Behavioural Sciences with emphasis on Teacher Education. The Journal Educatum encourages original research articles, literature reviews, theoretical papers, case studies, and policy analyses that contribute significantly to the understanding and improvement of education and behavioral sciences. The journal's rigorous peer-review process ensures the publication of high-quality, credible, and impactful contributions. By maintaining an annual publication schedule, the journal ensures timely dissemination of cutting-edge research and promotes the dissemination of knowledge to a broad readership, including educators, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders in the education community. This peer reviewed journal Educatum encompasses environment education and some other important issues pertaining to Teacher Education in particular which is need of the hour for a sustainable tomorrow.

Aims and Scope
Aims:

The aim of the Educatum: Journal of Education and Behavioral Sciences is to serve as a leading annual academic publication dedicated to advancing the field of education by fostering intellectual exchange, disseminating high-quality research and promoting evidence-based practices. The journal aims to contribute significantly to the improvement of education on a global scale by providing a platform for scholars, researchers, educators and policymakers to share their original and innovative ideas, theoretical frameworks, empirical studies and best practices.

Scope:

The Educatum welcomes submissions that address a wide range of topics within the field of education and behavioral sciences. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

Educational Psychology: Studies focusing on cognitive, emotional and social aspects of learning, as well as factors that influence educational attainment and motivation.

Curriculum Development and Instructional Design: Research related to the creation, implementation and evaluation of educational curricula and effective teaching methodologies.

Educational Technology: Exploring the integration and impact of technology in educational settings, including online learning, virtual classrooms and digital resources.

Assessment and Evaluation: Investigations into various assessment methods, testing practices and educational program evaluation to enhance student learning outcomes.

Peer Review Policy:

Educatum: An Annual Peer Reviewed Journal of Education and Behavioral Sciences adheres to peer-review integrity and perpetuation of the high academic and research standard. Once your paper has been received, it will be peer reviewed. The journal may get your paper reviewed by any scholar of repute in the field. The paper may be reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees following blind peer review policy. The Article/Research paper/Policy paper/Book Review etc once rejected by the Editorial Board of Educatum: Journal of Education and Behavioral Sciences will not be entertained for publication in the journal at any cost. The author/s is requested not to approach any member/s of Editorial Board or Board of Reviewers for publication.

Ethical and Copyright Policy:

The copyright on Article/Research paper/Policy paper/Book Review etc is with the author/s and journal jointly but the journal has full right to share the papers with any indexing agency/Google scholar/open access platform/academic platform/Academic repository to make it available for the larger academia in the interest of research and academics. Papers submitted for publication should be solely original, unpublished and as per ethical/legal policy of copyright. Before submitting manuscript for publication the corresponding author is suggested to send/attach at least one referral letter from the academician of the concerned discipline with clear recommendation for publication along with the declaration certificate regarding plagiarism as per rules and regulation of UGC/MHRD/Regulatory Bodies to facilitate the process of publication.

Access and Publication Policy:

There is no publication fee charged at any stage of publication. The Journal does provide it in the form of hard copy. Anyone can refer/cite the article/research paper with proper citations and references only. The Journal is committed to promoting and increasing the visibility of your article at larger platforms to make accessible for larger academia.

Call for Papers
The Institute proposes to publish its next issue as a special issue. Researchers, scholars, teachers, administrators, specialists, doctoral students, pre-service and in-service teachers and other professionals are invited to submit their research reports/articles in the area of Education and Behavioral Sciences.


Guidelines for Authors
1. Manuscript Format:
- Manuscripts should be typewritten on A-4 size paper with 1" margin all around.
- Use Times New Roman font in font size 12.
- Maintain double spacing throughout the document.

2. Mandatory Submission Requirements:
- Authors must include a Declaration form (Schedule ‘A’) confirming the originality of the work.
- A Plagiarism report is essential and must be submitted along with the manuscript.

3. Language and Word Limit:
- The journal publishes in ENGLISH only - The articles, research papers and review papers should not exceed 3000-3500 words.

4. Abstract:
- Authors must provide an abstract on a separate sheet.
- The abstract should be concise, in a single paragraph not exceeding 250-300 words.

5. Title and Author Information:
- Present the Title of the paper on a separate sheet.
- Include the name(s) of author(s) and their affiliations.
- Authors' identities should not be disclosed elsewhere in the manuscript.

6. Headings and Subheadings:
- Use short and concise headings in either Title case or Sentence case.
- Subheadings should be typed in bold and written in sentence case.

7. Tables:
- Number tables consecutively as 1,2,3 respectively.
- Each table must have a clear and informative title.

8. Figures and Diagrams:
- Avoid adding unnecessary tables and diagrams.
- Group figures to prevent distortion upon reduction.

9. Citations and Referencing:
- Use latest APA style for in-text citations and the References section.
- Ensure that in-text citations and the References section are in agreement.

10. Certificate: The article must be supported with (a) Certificate of the author of academic/research publication in the proforma prescribed in schedule ‘A’, (b) Plagiarism report on being checked through a Plagiarism detection tool.

11. Mode of Submission: Soft copy of the article must be sent through email at educatumgcmc@gmail.com. Hard copy is to be sent to college by post for Print format.

12. No Publication Fees needed.

13. Copyright: Copyright of published article shall belong to Gopal Chandra Memorial College of Education, publisher of 'Educatum'.
